Karen Reed has been fiddling her entire life. She is a full-time fiddle instructor, Director of the Karen Reed Orchestra, Director of the Orangeville Fiddle Camp, fiddle competition judge, workshop instructor, performer/entertainer, and composer. During her fiddling career, Karen won numerous awards. Some of the highlights include:  * Ranked as one of Canada’s top ten open fiddlers at the Canadian Open Fiddle Championships in Shelburne, Ontario * 12 and Under Canadian Champion, * Women’s Open Canadian Champion * Canadian Open Novelty Champion – runner up * Former Canadian Champion Fiddler * Ontario Open Champion  *Grand Master’s Finalist  She is excited to be instructing at the upcoming Irish Real Life Festival in Kitchener-Waterloo to share the world of fiddling and inspire fiddlers in their pursuit of their love of one of her loves: Celtic fiddling.
