About the event
The Mandolin and the Irish Banjo (4 - string) are tuned the same except that the banjo is an octave lower. We'll explore how these two instruments are
used in Irish music. We'll work through examples of various kinds of tunes (e.g jigs, reels) and will explore melodies as well as accompaniment
possibilities. The course will be geared mainly to beginner and intermediate players.
This event is PWYC (Pay-What-You-Can) to make arts and culture accessible to everyone! Suggested minimum of $20/person.
