About the event
An introduction to traditional Irish Pugilism and Walking-stick (shillelagh) self-defence taught by Steve Higgins, Cold Mountain Internal Arts.
Participants can bring their own stick (shillelagh, broom handle, umbrella) and hand protection (work gloves or lifting gloves). Steve will have sticks available to borrow.
This method is non-competitive and involves absolutely no free sparring.
Emphasis is on self-defence skills, healthy exercise, and having some good clean fun!
$20/person, all ages and experience welcome!
