About the event
All ages and experience are welcome to join in this celebration of the Celtic New Year, the changing of the seasons and the honouring of the Ancestors.
Samhain is the ancient Celtic origins of Hallowe'en and the time of year when the division between this world and the otherworld was at its thinnest, allowing spirits to pass through. For hundreds of years, people have been dressing in disguise (now costumes) to distract and confuse the spirits. We highly encourage attendees to dress up and enjoy the traditions of Samhain with us!
Join us for fun Samhain activities starting with a kids ceili at 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm, as well as traditional Samhain crafts!
At 7:30 pm, we will enjoy an amazing fire performance by Dragon Breath Entertainment!
Regular ceili starting at 8 p.m. with a wee break for some old Samhain stories with Ciaran Myers.
