All ages and experience levels are welcome to join in! Lots of activities to celebrate Samhain!
Samhain is the ancient Celtic origin of Halloween and the time of year when the division between this world and the otherworld was at its thinnest, allowing spirits to pass through. For hundreds of years, people have been dressing in disguise (now costumes) to distract and confuse the spirits. We highly encourage attendees to dress up and enjoy the traditions of Samhain with us!
Special performance by Free Flow Artistry and the Grand River Céilí Band will play live as our caller walks you through the dances. Wear comfy shoes, bring a reusable water bottle, and get ready for some good craic!
Delicious soup, snacks, and drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) will be available for purchase throughout the evening.
