Sea Marks by Gardner McKay Colm is a lonely fisherman living on a remote island off the west coast of Ireland. Timothea works for a publishing house in Liverpool. He begins a courtship by mail, and she falls in love with his words. They rendezvous in Liverpool and Timothea persuades Colm to stay with her. Sea Marks captures the heartache of long-distance love and when the call of the heart challenges the call of home.
